Illinois Broker Continuing Education - New Requirements

Real Estate Institute offers state-aproved courses for existing brokers and brokers that completed the license transition to become managing brokers.

The following table summarizes your renewal requirements.

Continuing education is required to renew your license by April 30, 2012.

How Did You Obtain Your License?	Credit Hours
By Transition - Passed the Salesperson-to-Broker Proficiency Test	18 hours of CE
By Transition - Passed the 30-Hour Transition Course	No CE Required
By Traditional Pre-License Education & Exam You did not transition to the new Managing Broker license You did not transition from the Salesperson license	12 hours of CE
By Traditional Pre-License Education & Exam after 5/1/2011	30 hours of Post-License Ed.
