| Application Developer - FULL TIME |
The person selected to fill this position will
be responsible for the following:Online Training & Testing - Full life-cycle development responsibilities for a
web-based learning management system (enrollment, training, and testing)
Define and own specifications for application
features
Assisting in defining test plans for
verification and validation
Participate in code reviews
Write and maintain complex SQL statements and stored procedures to manipulate
data stored in SQL Server
Prioritize and resolve maintenance issues and provide operational support for
the user of systems both internally and externally
Order management system - Support, enhancements, and reporting for an existing
MS Access / SQL Server based application
Web Site - Support and enhancements for our corporate website and customer
portal
For consideration, you MUST have the following experience:
Minimum 4 years of directly related experience in web application
development, specifically:
3+ years of HTML and ASP/ASP.NET programming and scripting (VBScript,
JavaScript, etc.)
3+ years of Visual Basic / VB.NET development
3+ years of MS SQL Server experience (database design, stored procedures,
replication, etc.)
2+ years of CSS, DHTML, Flash, and other technologies necessary to create
user-friendly websites
1+ years of Experience with Macromedia and Adobe web/graphic development
product suites
Microsoft .NET development tools (VB.NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NET).
Strong PC skills and expert experience with MS Office products
Additional requirements:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good organization skills
Must be detail oriented and able to multitask in a dynamic, fast paced
business
Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug testing
Preferred:
Business or Computer Science degree
Streaming media experience
Microsoft or other certifications

| Customer Service Representative - FULL TIME |
This customer service position is an important part of our day-to-day operations. The individual selected for this postion will work with our customers to process enrollments, schedule and proctor exams, and complete other back-office administration. Although this position requires a significant amount of telephone interaction, the person selected will also meet with customers in person (at our office). In addition, this position offers the opportunity to spend some time working on other administrative projects (mail list management, course material preparation, etc.).
Responsibilities include:
- Learning regulatory requirements for professional licensees (Insurance, Legal, Mortgage, & Real Estate).
- Assisting students to select and enroll in correct correspondence courses.
- General office work and customer service.
- Data entry & document editing.
- Additional responsibilities depending on prior experience.
For consideration, you WILL BE EXPECTED TO DEMONSTRATE the following experience:
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office programs, including Word and Excel
- Accurate typing of at least 40 words per minute.
Additional Considerations:
- You must have a clear and pleasant phone voice.

Responsibilities include:
Fulfillment - Packing and shipping course materials for correspondence courses.
Back-office support for Customer Service. Includes data entry, grading exams, and other administration.
Additional responsibilities depending on prior experience.

Accurate typing of at least 40 words per minute

You must be able to lift 50 pounds (when moving boxes, including course books).
