  1. What is the school's policy regarding payment and refunds?
All course enrollments require pre-payment and are non-refundable.

In addition, the Real Estate Institute is not responsible for any late fees, charges or other amounts incurred by students to licensing authorities or any other third parties.

  2. In addition to the school's tuition, am I required to pay any fees when completing courses?

Our pricing includes no 'hidden' fees. However, some state regulatory agencies require mandatory credit reporting fees to be paid upon course completion. We collect the requried fees when you enroll in our courses. The fee amount is clearly stated at our website along with other course details. If the mandatory state fees increase before you complete your course, you will be required to pay the additional amount upon course completion so that we may promptly report your credit hours to the state.

Students may be required to pass a state examination (at a state-approved testing center) after successfully completing certain pre-license programs. Any related fees are paid directly to the appropriate exam provder and are not included in our course tuition.

Students may be required to pay fees when applying for or renewing a state license. Any such fees are paid directly to the appropriate state regulatory agency and are not included in our course tuition.

Instructor-Led Classes - Rescheduling, Late Arrival, & Early Departure

We recognize that our students sometimes experience unforeseen schedule conflicts after enrolling in a class. Our policies vary for different types of programs. Class rescheduling requests are only accepted by phone. See below or call our office for additional information.     (click an item to see more info)

    • Rescheduling

While late arrivals will be admitted to the classroom, we recommend arriving no later than 15 minutes prior to the scheduled class time to ensure full credit for attendance.
    • Early Departure
Early departure is permitted, however the Certificate of Completion will reflect the actual duration of attendance. Some courses are recorded and made available online, on-demand. Students who were not able to remain for the duration of class may call and request to complete the remainder of the course online, on-demand (at no additional fee).
