Admission Requirements
There are no specific requirements for enrollment in courses offered by the School. License requirements are set by State law. Individuals desiring to lease real estate owned by others must acquire either a Residential Leasing Agent, Salesperson or Broker license. All Residential Leasing Agent and Salesperson licensees must work under the direction of a Broker Sponsor. Broker licensees may sponsor themselves or work under the direction of another Broker.

State requirements for receiving a Residential Leasing Agent license are:

  1. Being at least 18 years of age.
  2. Being a high school graduate or having a G.E.D.
  3. Successfully completing a 15 credit-hour Residential Leasing Agent pre-license course.
  4. Achieving a score of 75% or higher on a State approved license examination.

Certificate and Diploma Requirements
Evidence of completion is awarded to students successfully completing all assignments and examinations.

Self-Study / Home-Study
Self-study may be completed at home, or at the Real Estate Institute. Self-study allows each student to progress at his or her own pace. Instructor assistance is provided throughout the program. Textbooks are provided to all students. Proctored final examinations are required for all courses.

Payment, Refunds, and Cancellations
Full payment is required at time of enrollment. The school offers no financial assistance. Enrollments are non-refundable.  Students are required to complete all Real Estate Pre-License courses within three (3) months of enrollment. Prices are subject to change.
