Illinois Condominium Law Changes and the Effect on Your Practice

As of January 1, 2016, The Illinois Condominium Property Act has been amended significantly. This program highlights these recent changes and discusses strategies for condominium associations’ adoption of these new policies. This course provides best practices for real estate attorneys in navigating the rules and advising their clients concerning the new rules.
Course Topics Include:
- New notice requirements for condominium associations
- Recent significant case law relative to condominiums, including relevant Illinois Supreme Court decisions
- New prohibitions on “closed-door” board meetings and strategies for board compliance
This course provides a comprehensive overview of the recent amendments to the Illinois Condominium Property Act. This program will benefit all attorneys and provide techniques for real estate attorneys’ compliance with the rules and practicing with professionalism.
