Package Details
Brokers can complete their core and elective continuing education requirements with this "All Online" CE package, which may be completed anywhere at any time with Online Distance Education. Quickly complete the online courses, which are broken out into shorter modules that you may complete at your own pace. No final exam is required for these courses.
This package includes:
- 4-Hour Core CE curriculum, which must be completed by all Brokers.
- Sexual Harassment Prevention training, which all Illinois Brokers must complete before renewing their license.
- 2.5 hours of REALTOR® Code of Ethics training, which members of the National Association of REALTORS® must complete every three years*.
- Modern, easy-to-complete, and informative courses created just for Illinois real estate professionals.
* Our Ethical Practice course has been reviewed by the Chicago Association of REALTORS® and is approved to satisfy the Code of Ethics training requirement. The National Association of REALTORS® indicates that all associations must recognize/give credit for training approved by other associations.

Illinois Broker CE Requirements:
If your license was issued before November 1, 2023 you need to complete 12 hours of continuing education which includes 6 hours of core instruction and 6 hours of electives, including 1 hour of Sexual Harassment Prevention training.
Brokers whose license was issued between November 1, 2023 and October 31, 2025 and are renewing for the first time require Post-License Education instead of CE for their 2026 license renewal.
Note: All attorneys currently registered to practice law in Illinois are exempt from the continuing education requirement but must submit the required renewal fee and application to the IDFPR.
